TOPIC: LIVING IN THE PLEASURE OF YOUR MAKER

SCRIPTURE: Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory, honor, and power. For thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. REVELATION 4: 11

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: It doesn’t matter who is happy with you, if God is not happy with you, you are living at a loss.

It has been confirmed that one of the easiest things to do in life is to waste a lifetime.

One day, a man who was around 40 years of age at the time, was dying of kidney disease, so he gave his son an admonition.

He said to his son, “I have spent almost 40 years trying to find out what life is all about. And when I thought I have found out, I realize there is no more time to live. But you, my son, you have time. So, make up your mind to live well and fulfil the purpose for your life.” (Paraphrased).
You see, when this man thought he knew what it meant to live, he had no time to live anymore.

Now, one way to live to make your life profitable on earth is to live in relationship with your Creator, the Almighty God.

Living in relationship with your Creator is living profitably; living in relationship with your creator is to living to please Him.

Revelation 4: 11 says,
Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory, honor, and power. For thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

The truth is, it doesn’t matter who is happy with you, if God is not happy with you, you are living at a loss.

Beloved, my counsel is, make up your mind to live in relationship with your Creator; live to please God who created you.

Remember this: It doesn’t matter who is happy with you, if God is not happy with you, you are living at a loss.

ASSIGNMENT:
1. Make up your mind to live to the pleasure of your maker.

2. Understand what God wants you to do with your life and make up your mind to do them.

PRAYER: Lord, I ask for the grace to live to please You. Help me to know what You want me to do, and give me the grace to do them, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
