SCRIPTURE: ..That you may be filled [through all your being] unto all the fullness of God [may have the riches measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself]! Ephesians 3:19 (AMPC)
Joyce Meyer Devotional 2 November 2024 Message:
Being daily filled with the presence and power of God is wonderful and, according to the verse for today, it is God’s will for us. Being filled with God is much better than being full of ourselves. Selfishness is a miserable way to live, but God has provided a way for us to live for Him and others,
through Jesus Christ.
The Bible teaches us that Christ died for all, so that all those who live might live no longer to and for themselves, but to and for Him (2 Corinthians 5:15 AMPC). Jesus has made a way for us to have a wonderful life, filled with peace and joy. He has made a way for us to love others rather than living only for our own pleasures and purposes.
Being filled with God’s presence requires seeking Him, studying His Word, and developing behaviors that make room for Him in our lives. Starting your day with Scripture and fellowship with God is the way to get your day started right. This day is God’s gift to you, so don’t waste it. He is waiting to fill you with His presence, so ask and receive that your joy might be full.
Prayer of the Day: Father God, fill me with Your presence and power today. Help me live for You and for others, and reflect Your love and joy, every day in my life, amen.
