TODAY’S INSPIRATIONAL: It’s easy to talk about how big the problem is, but how about talking about how big our God is? How about speaking victory, favor, abundance? Don’t be snared by your words; be propelled by your words. Don’t let a negative report keep you from your destiny. There are dreams God will put in your heart that seem impossible. There will be giants on the way to your destiny that are way too big for you.

A test that we all have to pass is what we speak. “It’s never going to work out. These giants are too big, this sickness too great, this addiction too powerful.” Or are we going to say like David, “I will defeat them. I will get healthy, I will break this addiction, I will set new standards for my family.” The key is to not say what you feel, not say what you think, not say what it looks like. Say what God says about you.

The Scripture says in Matthew, “All these things that Mary went through, were to fulfill the prophecy that was spoken long ago.” Isaiah prophesied that a virgin would conceive. She had to get pregnant at the “wrong time.” It was prophesied that Jesus would be born in a manger in Bethlehem. Herod had to call for a census at the “wrong time” to get them from Nazareth to Bethlehem.

The innkeeper wasn’t mean. It wasn’t his fault that the inn was full. It was prophesied she would give birth in a manger. All these wrongs were necessary. There are things God has ordained for you before you were born. Like Mary, you’re not going to understand everything that happens. “This feels wrong; this isn’t fair; this is not the right time.” It’s all necessary. It had to happen. It’s leading you to the promise, to things bigger than you can imagine, favor, influence, opportunity like you’ve never seen.
