Joel Osteen Daily Message – 6th September 2024
Don’t be surprised if you find yourself in situations that are not fair. People didn’t keep their word; they played politics and made you look bad; they betrayed you. You have every right to get even. Your flesh says, “Do to them what they did to you.” Pass the test. Be a David. That’s God seeing what you’re made of. It’s easy to tell people off; it’s easy to be rude when someone’s rude to you. But that will keep you at the same place. God wants to take you higher, to places that you’ve never seen.
When you know who you are, you won’t live in a proving mode, trying to impress people, getting your value from what they think. “Do they accept me, do they complement me, do they approve me? If not, let me work harder, let me prove to them that I’m good enough!” You don’t need their applause. Them validating you is not going to move you toward your destiny.
God said in Philippians, “I will bring you to a flourishing finish.” Not a defeated finish, a bankrupt finish, a lonely finish, a betrayed finish, a depressed finish. God has a victorious finish for you, an abundant finish, a flourishing finish. That means you’re blossoming, blooming, seeing dreams coming to pass, going further than you’ve imagined. You’re healthy, whole, fulfilled, being a bigger blessing than you’ve ever dreamed. Be inspired by this message from Joel, “It’s Still Going to Happen”.
