Today’s Scripture
Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.” – Galatians 3:13, NIV
Today’s Word
The curse that Christ has already redeemed us from is behind any kind of defeat—sin, mistakes, wrong choices, fear, worry, sickness, or unhealthy relationships. God has loosed our chains of addictions, defeats, and bad attitudes. But if you don’t realize you have been set free and take advantage of your freedom, if you don’t get your thoughts, your words, and your attitudes going in the right direction, it won’t do you any good. Every enemy in your life has already been defeated—enemies of worry, depression, addiction, financial lack—and you have power over all of them.
The same power that raised Christ from the dead is inside you. There is nothing in your life that you cannot overcome. But you may be sitting back waiting for God to do something supernatural in your life when God is waiting for you. You have to believe that the price has been paid and you have the power to break free from things that have held you back in the past. Put your foot down and take hold of everything Christ has done for you.
Prayer For Today
“Father, thank You that You have made me Your child and that I am no longer under the curse of the law. Thank You that You redeemed me and You’re taking me forward into full freedom. I believe that every enemy in my life has been defeated and that the obstacles in my way will be overcome. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
