TODAY’S INSPIRATIONAL MESSAGE FROM JOEL OSTEEN

You may struggle with low self-esteem. You feel inferior, like you don’t measure up. You have to change that picture. Get in agreement with how God sees you. He said you are fearfully and wonderfully made. He calls you a masterpiece, one of a kind. He’s crowned you with favor.

He put a robe of approval on you. Why don’t you get your image in line with God’s image? If you’ll change your pictures, you’ll change your life. If you’ll have the right inner vision, see yourself as strong, talented, anointed, favored, with a bright future, then you’ll reach the fullness of your destiny.

Are you trying to pray away what God wants to use to refine you? Instead of trying to change everything, why don’t you pray, “God, help me to change. Help me to come up higher, to be more patient, to overlook the offense, to not be jealous, to not let other people steal my joy.”

In John 6, a great crowd had followed Jesus to this remote place to hear Him teach. It was getting late in the day, almost dark. Jesus said to His disciples, “You need to feed the people. They’re too tired to go home hungry.” They said in effect, “Are you kidding? There are fifteen thousand people here.

We’re out in the desert.” Jesus asked them, “What do you have?” They went out in the crowd and came back in a few minutes saying, “All we could find was this little boy’s lunch. Five loaves of bread and two fish, but what is that among so many?” That’s a logical question.

What good is this one lunch going to do when we need lunch for fifteen thousand people? But God doesn’t ask you to figure out how it’s going to happen; He just asks you to use what He’s given you, to not discount it, not live thinking you’re at a deficit, but to believe that He can take what seems too small and make something great out of it.
