Daily Bible Verse – 9th May 2025 – Isaiah 43:19 (NIV)
“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”
Message: “A New Season is Unfolding”
Today’s verse is a reminder that God is always working behind the scenes—even when we feel lost or stuck. The wilderness moments of life can seem dry and aimless, but God promises to do a new thing. This “new thing” is not just change for the sake of change; it’s a divine setup for breakthrough and restoration. When we surrender the old, He brings forth the new—a path through the wilderness and refreshment in barren places.
Even if your current season feels lifeless or uncertain, trust that God is cultivating something fresh. Stay sensitive to His Spirit. What He is doing may not look familiar, but it will be fruitful. Don’t cling to what was; be open to what is becoming.

Take time to observe God’s kindness in David’s treatment of Mephibosheth (2 Samuel), and Jesus’ compassionate approach to the Samaritan woman (John 4). God seeks out the forgotten to do new things in them.
Daily Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for the promise of new beginnings. Even when I cannot see it, I trust that You are making a way for me. Open my eyes to perceive the new thing You are doing in my life. Let hope rise where there has been discouragement, and bring clarity where there has been confusion. I yield to Your plan and ask for the courage to embrace the path You’re unfolding. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
