BIBLE VERSE OF THE DAY: Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10).

When the Lord Jesus said, “Thy kingdom come…,” this was because the world was being dominated by another kingdom at the time. This was before His death, burial, resurrection, and ascension to heaven. It was before the advent of the new creation. But after His resurrection and the coming of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost, which initiated the new creation, we no longer pray, “Thy kingdom come,” because Jesus came to fulfil this prayer. May the Lord bless you as you study and meditate today in Jesus Name, Amen!
