There’s a big windshield in front of you and a very small rear-view mirror. The reason it’s so small is because what’s behind you is not nearly as important as what’s in front of you. Where you’re going is what matters, not where you’ve been. Is there something you need to forget so you can see the new thing, something you need to quit dwelling on so that you can step into the favor and abundance God has for you?

He’s not just a Sunday morning God. All through the day, in your thoughts, talk to God like you’d talk to a friend. God will be as involved in your life as you want Him to be. If you keep him in a Sunday morning box, He’ll stay there. But He wants to be so much more than that.

You may be in a time of testing and proving now. It’s difficult, but you’re keeping a good attitude. The medical report hasn’t improved, but you keep thanking God for healing. People at work don’t give you the credit, but you keep being your best each day. You could be bitter over the door that closed, the person that walked away, but you know God has something better coming.

You’re passing the test. Like Jesus, you’re going to come into the forty-first day. Not only will you feel strength and power that you’ve never felt, but you’re going to step into things that God prophesied over you long before you got here, things He’s spoken over your destiny before you were born.

Prayer For Today
“Father, thank You that You are my God and that’s reason enough to never waver in believing Your promises. Thank You that I can sing with joy in whatever season I am in. I am going to keep believing, keep praising, and keep thanking You for what’s on the way. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
